Captur Orchardgrass
Our most popular orchardgrass – Captur – is a very late-maturing, persistent orchardgrass with good fall productivity and great winter-hardiness. Orchardgrass grows best in well drained soils. It will perform in heavier soils if they are not prone to excessive wetness.

CRXL Alfalfa

Weststar Alfalfa Blend
The Weststar alfalfa blend consists of several high-quality alfalfa varieties, taking advantage of all their unique benefits. With that, comes good forage quality and yield as well as multifoliate expression. Due to the alfalfa blend, Weststar is adaptable to many different soil types.

Vision Alfalfa
BC’s leading alfalfa variety when multiple cuts (3-4) are desired, and irrigation is available. Vision offers very high yields and, with a high multifoliate expression, exceptional forage quality. Vision’s combination of winter hardiness and fall dormancy makes it particularly well adapted to the southern interior.

Richmond Timothy
A true multi-cut timothy and an excellent companion to alfalfa or forage mixes. Richmond is very winter hardy and will persist throughout the central and southern interior. Forage quality is very high arising from is fine, leafy texture.

Firkin Italian Ryegrass
Firkin is a tetraploid, true Italian ryegrass variety: it has a high vernalization requirement, there is no heading in the year of seeding. Firkin features rapid establishment, high DM yield, excellent disease resistance, high forage quality and has more root mass than cereals.

Hi-Pro Ryegrass
Hi-Pro is the true annual type of Italian ryegrass, and the fastest growing grass. Unlike Italian ryegrass, it forms stems during the sowing year. Hi-pro is used when high production is required within 3 to 6 months after sowing. There are only minor differences between diploid and tetraploid varieties.

Succession Hybrid Bromegrass
Hybrid bromegrass is a cross between smooth and meadow bromegrass and has the advantage of faster regrowth compared to smooth brome and greater hay yields compared to meadow bromegrass. Succession brand is known for good forage quality and yield, as well as winter-hardiness.

Tower Tall Fescue
This is a palatable fescue delivering high animal performance and is adapted to a wide range of soils, including wet/poorly drained. Tower tall fescue is considered frost tolerant when compared to phalaris and cocksfoot and is known for being a high-quality pasture late into spring and summer.
